With super bowl Sunday just around the corner, I thought I would offer some great ideas for food to make your life a little easier.

For Easy Appetizers:

My baked brie with sun-dried tomatoes and pesto is one of my top ten recipes so I would highly recommend it as my first option, it comes out of the oven hot and bubbly and is loaded with lots of flavor

A gluten free option and one of my favorites, dates wrapped in bacon (who doesn’t love bacon), this is great because you get the sweet from the dates and the salty from the bacon, it’s the perfect combination!

For something served cold and another gluten free option, I’d recommend the apricot and blue cheese appetizer (looks pretty as well), the honey adds a little sweetness and takes away from the “bite” from the blue cheese, the apricot is a great dried fruit adding a great texture and the nut balances it all off

A little heartier option is a newer recipe for turkey meatball poppers, I love this recipe as it can be prepared earlier in the day and popped in the oven before guests show it.  I made it with my cranberry sauce but you can add any sauce you want for this great recipe!

This year I made a homemade roast beef that would be a great add on for that “manly man” type of  sandwich…this is a great recipe to show off with!  Your friends will be mesmerized by you making this homemade!

And of course a salad, why not try this new one using roasted vegetables and quinoa, another great option for those who are gluten free!
