Do you know what fennel is? I grew up eating fennel so it was not foreign for me to see it on the table or for us to just snack on it and I always loved the flavor of fennel. Noodle kugel is a traditional Jewish dish made for Rosh Hashanah and I have to admit that the first time I tried noodle kugel, 22 years ago, I didn’t like or understand it.
