12 Days of Cookies – Spritz (Almond) Cookies

December 9, 2013 By Patty Limatola-Tanenbaum Leave a Comment

YUMMMMMMMY…there have I said enough?  I just love rice krispies (crispies) and I found that even though they are a very simple thing to make, I always had an issue making them.  My sister-in-law used to make rice krispies (crispies) for me for my birthday and I had always looked forward to receiving them as I just love rice krispies (crispies).

Today is June 10th and June 10th was my mothers birthday…she passed away from cancer almost 20 years go.  So to honor her, I thought it would be fun to make one of my favorite recipes Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies, this cookie recipe was a favorite of mine from childhood.  This is the original recipe that I used to make with the only change being I added pecans instead of walnuts and I added some vanilla extract.

Pull apart pepperoni pizza bread is so simple to make and amazing to eat.  I swear anyone can make this and I would encourage you to have your kids or grandchildren make this recipe as it’s so easy and will empower a beginner chef.  I recently experimented and made a pull apart garlic bread that we all loved, it was quite funny because I thought I was being so original and then I found pull apart garlic bread everywhere…silly me.
